JOB TITLES

PRODUCER
Phone Calls To Locations- We didn't need to make any phone calls as the places we shot at didn't need permission.

Organised Schedules- As a group, we sat down and organised what sort of times and days we could all be free for shooting.

Timing- We made sure everyone was in the right place at the right time.

Organised Transport- We organised lifts and got buses, so that we could all meet up on time.

Booking, Hiring, Borrowing Equipment- We had to arrange when we could hire out the camera so that everyone was present for filming.

Making Decisions- We made decisions about shooting and ideas in the planning stage.Í

DIRECTOR
Discussing and developing a concept- During planning and shooting, we talked about our ideas changing etc to get a better looking video.

Visualising- We all aimed for an overall look for the video, a specific identity.

Making Decisions, Shot Movements, Framing, Angles- We thought carefully about framing out all of the background etc, to make the shots look professional.

Encouraging Performances- The performers were encouraged to make natural but energetic performances to make the song come alive.

Overseeing The Editing Decisions- Lots of decisions were changed when we were editing the material we made, to make the footage look more alive.

CINEMATOGRAPHER
Working Out How To Achieve Directors Decision- We had to make sure all the shots looked good and had to think how its going to look when you get back to the computer.

Lighting The Set- Most of our shots were dark so we depended on light editing.

Overseeing The Operation Of The Camera- We had to be abstract and artistic when thinking about shots.

EDITOR
Uploading And Logging the footage- Footage was all kept safe so that we had all of our rough footage etc just incase we changed our ideas.

Organising The Time Lines- We had to arrange the timeline into seperate ones e.g. storyline and rough-cut time line and final time line etc.

Lip Syncing- Everything had to be in sync so that the singers were natural and looked professional.

Deciding Where To Cut- We were careful where we cut so that we wouldnt loose our footage.

Inserting Transitions- Transitions cut up our footage to make it look more interesting etc.

Trying Out Different Combinations Of Shots- We wanted everything to look the same,
however we liked the idea of using abstract shots.

Making Decisions Of The Overall Shape And Pace Of The Video- We aimed for a clear narrative and tried to make the pace fit to the beat of the song.

PLAYBACK OPERATOR- ENSURING THE CD IS RUNNING
GRIP- HOLDING THE TRIPOD
SET DESIGN- DECISING THE SET AND WHERE THINGS GO
COSTUME DESIGN- DECIDING WHAT TO WEAR
